Abused, Afflicted, Confused, But Now DELIVERED

My life story was a book within itself. The tough times I went through were an opportunity that I never imagined. We all have a story to share but when was always my question. One day in prayer, I heard God tell me to finish what I had started.  I had a plethora of unfinished books in a tote or on my computer, so I knew I needed to finish each task. As I transcribed these impossible moments with pages filled with hurt, pain, and darkness I wanted to help someone else overcome. Stories that once crushed my soul and changed me forever of tortuous and forbidden lines that I wanted to keep inside. Yet, it was in those moments that my beautiful endeavors naturally led me to be the strong, wise, and better human being I am today. I can never be the same because I realize I have changed in the light of whom I serve. 
 
As we treasure ‘‘moments,’’ it can and will only be found in God, as He watches over all seasons of our life. Life can be so unpredictable and sometimes, it can be filled with painful separations, but God is not blind to any of our problems. He is the only one that can allow us to enjoy life and treasure each moment He gives. Whether we’re enduring the erratic storms in life or enjoying the stillness after the rain has passed, the peace of God’s constant presence lights our way through dark times.  There are times we can feel that our splendor is gone due to the feelings of being defeated, isolated, and abandoned, but thankfully that is not how the story ends. God always wins! The darkest days can never dispel God’s great light.
